ALF or Animal Liberation Front is a cell based organization that specializes in "freeing" animals from companies and letting them go. They do this by breaking into the animal colony, stealing the animals, and then releasing them into the wild. Having known ALFers myself I can tell you that they are shallow anarchists with no real understanding of the world or of life in general. Usually they are white, rich, college drop outs. They believe that corporations have no right to privatize animals, and reason that they themselves can, not only steal other's property, but cause terrible suffering by releasing them into the wild.

I found one of their "communiques" on portland indymedia (http://portland.indymedia.org/en/2008/04/374868.shtml) and one of their statements particularly  interesting. They write "Even if some of the mink do not make it we feel it is better to die free, then at the hands of their speciesist captors." This is an insane statement, and one that only leftists could make. They are merely exchanging world views, and forcing their own on the poor minks. As usual, actual reason and logic take a back seat to "feel good direct action". Those minks were brought up in a colony. They have no idea how to survive in the wild. What would you rather? Live well and be taken care of in a warm and safe environment until you are killed ever so carefully. Or be "freed" by some crazed anarchist to live your last few moment terrified, hungry and scared? I really don't know. But neither does the ALF. They should leave well enough alone.

I cannot help but bring Obama into this. His friend and fundraiser Ayers is one of these people. Weather Underground have close ties to ALF, ELF, and Earth First! and they all use the same Monkey-Wrench Game techniques to force their world view on others. These people have no respect for personal property or society. They do not understand real suffering, only what their leftist college professors tell them and idealists pamphlet put out by Nonsense Collective Number 123 table. Obama is closer to these people than the media will ever let on, and its important to follow the breadcrumbs.

So, the Oregon Primary is coming up soon and I am still hesitant to join Operation Chaos and change sides. I can not imagine voting for Hillary for the obvious reasons, but I want to use my primary vote for some good. However, I hate the thought of being lumped in with the "Democrats getting new voters" propaganda that is making the primary rounds. I also think that Hillary will be much harder to beat in the general and I do not want to inadvertently help her get the nod. I guess I'll see how things shape up tonight. I also think I can rely on the "white guilt" of the D-super delegates to give it to Obama no matter what..hmm..I should make up my mind soon though.

A Rant on a Saturday Afternoon:

I just can't take it anymore. I can't take all this liberal nonsense. They are the most negative people out there, so down on everything except their precious global warming. Everywhere its prices going up. Gas going up. Economy worries. Blah blah blah. Maybe if the liberals would stop trying to "greenify" everything, and make it all "sustainable" the prices would be fine. Being green is being Anti-American. It is destroying our wonderful capitalist system that  has made us the most powerful country ever in a few hundred years. Why fix something that is not broken? If the argument is that we want to be competitive and have cheap fuel, FINE. Then let the market handle itself. Whenever government start meddling NOTHING gets done. But forcing the country to be "green" by taxing everyone who drives a car is just plain unpatriotic. They want to improve traffic congestition by taxes. "This will help our environment" they tell me. I have an idea: BUILD MORE ROADS. When did we become beholden to what we perceive about the planet's woes? The planet has existed for millions and millions of years. It is going to be fine. And another thing, there is one truth about people's perceptions; they're usually DEAD WRONG.

 And the worse part is, liberals really don't care about the environment. If they did then they would happy to see global-warming as a myth (which it IS). But no, they're just using "environmental concerns" to beat the American people and our economy into submission so they can gain power and institute a green fascist regime. Being an environmentalist is being a fascist: an environmentalist believes that laws should be passed (NO MATTER WHAT) for the sake of the environment, people's freedom not withstanding. Thats why we can't open up new power plants. Thats why we can't drill in anwr. Thats why I have to pay for a plastic grocery bag and be bombarded with green advertising. Thats why our economy is getting worse. Going "green" is going to destroy this country. It will bring us to our knees economically.
Its time to fight back.
No more "green". No more new taxes. No more lies. No more nonsense.

I do not presume to know what real courage is. I have never served my country in uniform, and so I do not know real fear. But it seems apparent that liberals and congressional republicans are complete and utter cowards. They are so busy appeasing the economy just like they appease everything else, that they do not give the country time to correct itself and learn from our mistakes. Why they should bail out people who foreclosed on their homes is a complete mystery. What ever happened to personal responsibility? Congress should say "You made a mistake. You have to suffer the consequences. Its not our job to clean up your mess. Grow up."  I guess thats what true American men and women would do, so why would I expect congress to act like true Americans. And where is the damn GOP? Oh thats right, after abandoning their conservative principles, they're quivering in some cave scared of being called names by Democrats. Worthless.

We have to meet our world head on. As anyone thats ever played any contact sports will say, one get far more injured dodging the hit. We need REAL leaders, not some whiny little girly men who don't have the guts to stand up for themselves.

A possible Obama presidency is the most dangerous threat to our country in a very long time, for a variety of reason's that we all know. Though I was hopeful that the GOP and conservatives could figure something out (ala Romney VP) and defeat Obama is November, I was still fairly trepidatious. However in the past few days, with the far more than expected media coverage of Wright, Obama's spiritual guide, and his racist anti-american rhetoric, I felt hopeful. I say keep it going! Keep if going and don't let it stop.

Do not let this story or the story of his racist afro-centric church  leave the media's and America's attention. This will get the snowball rolling; the snowball that will join forces with Michelle's unpatriotic comments, Rezko, Obama's lack of experience or substance on issues, Ferraro's statement, and finally his radical leftist agenda. This snowball will utterly destroy and obliterate his campaign, and open the eyes of American's everywhere. USA: 1 Leftist Radical Fascists: 0.  It is important for conservatives, republicans, and Patriots everywhere to beat this story to death and further still. Until the only thing paired with Obama is "Racist Anti-American," Use the left's primary conservative attack against them  for ONCE. There is hope yet.

I'm relatively young and impressionable. I haven't served my country in uniform, and will probably never have that honor. But this is my take on our current predicament. I look at our slowing economy, and then at the Democratic rheotoric. The Democrats hate this country the way that it is fashionable when one is thirteen to hate one's parents. They will say, or do anything, to try to push on boundaries. And never have anything good to say about the country. The issue is that the people of this country, for the most part, do not have the will or pride to say "No!, you have reached a boundary. Time to stop now." We see whole generations of men (myself included), who have not been taught to be men. And parents with no understanding of role-modeling. This is not to say that my parents were not good role models. My parents were excellent role models and I owe them my life. What I am saying is that society and schools do not teach men to be men. An overly simple example of this is that in a book store there is a whole section of Women's Heath or Women's Studies. But there is none for men. Men are never taught how to be men by society, and when parent role modeling fails (in the case of drug use and physical/verbal abuse), it makes for very adult looking boys. In the same way women are not taught to be women and having the freedom to choose career and women's lib seems to have turned into anti-mother anti-wife sentiments in some circles.

We live in a society that eschews the mere thought of nationalism. What happened to our pride? What happened to our love, or eros,  for this country?  It has, like drops of water on stone, been eroded away by decades of adolescent rebellion acted out by liberal adults who never grew up to be men and women. We need some good ol fashioned national pep rallies. We need to show the liberals that hating one's country will not make it any stronger, and supply them with reasons to be proud to be American. How we do this, I really do not know, but I trust in God and the American spirit to breath pride back into our hurting country. Give the people pride, and our country will be just fine.

Like many of us, I harbor many conflicting emotions concerning the future. Our beautiful Nation is under attack, yet who will defend her. Our political hope is weak in that he is not ours, but the alternatives are potentially nation-shattering. What are we to do? How are we to speak? It is far more than a battle of ideas, but a battle for Nation and Identity. Times are accelerating, forcing us to not look to the past as guide to the future, and so we are doomed to repeat it. History has been rewritten to such an extent that those who cry for liberty support tyranny, and those who are supposed to give liberty, give only lies. This is a crucial time for the world and for our nation and we must acknowledge its severity.

America is being attacked from every possible direction. The attack is coming from the south, as aliens swarm our borders pillaging our cities and attacking our citizens. It is coming from the the Far East, as China looms like so many locusts. The attack is coming from the Middle-East, as Islam attacks our troops and our nation itself. And Europe, our ally apparent, is a sluggish amoeba allowing their culture to become infected by Sharia law and a culture of domination and submission. To make matters worse, our blessed country is being eaten from the inside out. Liberals and leftist threaten our very existence, using hate speech and "civil rights" to effectively silence their opposition, and use the MSM to brainwash young society into believing that there is no conservatives left in America. Obama, their leader, has huge rallies, and speaks with a silver tongue. He is wildly cheered while deprecating his own nation, and the media represents him as a messiah as such. This type of leader sounds eerily familar, an echo of 1933. Thus, it appears that the conservatives are the only one's left to defend our country and the West.

And we are here, and we are hear en mass. On every side we are threatened, we are slandered, and we are pushed back. The left, in their quest for heaven on Earth, has left their reason behind and become the noble savage that never existed. Relying on emotion, these progressives further sow their own doom as well as ours, their self-hate cutting off their mind to calm their over medicated hearts. Yet, it is in these heaving times that greatness is found and hope is born. Hope for ourselves and hope for our children.

Obama and Hillary want the American people to trust them with America's hope. I say that this talk is the talk of of lies and of tyrants. I say that the only place hope should be, is with who won it over 200 years ago; The American people.

And it is because we are Americans that we have courage for our future, all melodrama aside. We have courage to hold out until the Left finally gets it. We have the courage to fight the war of ideas that must be waged. We have the courage to fight the war of arms that will be waged. And we have the courage to fight for our country because we are Americans.

I was glancing through the blogs and comments and I saw a lot of negativity about McCain and the NYT. Not the support that most people have when faced with a common enemy. It seems that people are just focused on negativity instead of the positive.

Look, McCain is going to be the GOP nominee. Though  most of us have serious differences with him on immigration and other issues, the fact is that he will defend this great satellite-shooting Country from the savages that threaten it where Hillary and Obama will not.

Its like this. For all intensive purposes he's on our side, and we can bicker and throw bro-punches at each other as much as we want. BUT when someone outside attacks one of ours (even if he's the "annoying lame friend" who we all hate) we have to shut the f up, sit the f down and defend him. This is only the beginning. We can either defend him against liberal attacks and get a president who will defend this country far better than any DEM, or whine about how we all saw this coming, blah blah blah, and further usher in our own demise. 
 
I choose to defend our imperfect candidate instead of continue to spout nonsense that really is, "soooo last month."

   To those conservatives that understand and agree I thank you in advance, to those radicals that do not understand I could care less, and to those radicals that want to understand, this is for you. If you want to stand for freedom then you are a conservative, whether you like it or not.

    I was once a hard-core radical leftist, a "serious" anarchist, that lived and breathed leftist politics and culture. After years in this "scene" I realized that I believed what amounted to utter nonsense, and turned my back on friends and ideas. You will understand what I am talking about if you understand leftist social sub-culture. As we draw closer and closer to November, leftist thoughts are becoming more and more main stream. Take a look at Code Pink. Take a look at Earth First. Take a look at Obama. We are close to having the antics of Berkeley repeat itself again and again, and become worse and worse. This could not be worse for our country. To those radical leftist looking for truth I implore you in solidarity, to stand up, take a step back, and look at what is going on. Here are three things to think about the next time you are thinking about mixing malox and water, and suiting up in black-bloc.

    A Truth: There is one fundamental differences between liberals and conservatives. Conservatives stand for what they think is "good", in that, they define "good" as what they are. Liberals do not stand for anything concrete. They stand for abstract concepts such as "hope", "liberty", "equality", and "social justice." But after asking a liberal to define social justice in a non-cyclical fashion, one begins to realize that liberals stand for "not-conservative." It follows from this that what liberals define as "good" is anything the conservative is not. This amounts to tremendous moral and ethical flexibility and, as one would expect from having no clear definition of what good is, a large amount of hypocrisy. This hypocrisy is most clearly illustrated in the the liberal fascism we see these days;"Freedom of speech as long as it isn't 'racist' 'sexist' 'culturist' 'anti-global warming'...."

    A Truth: Liberals, and leftist's especially, have extremely predictable argument patterns. If you argue with them factually, they will simply tell you that your sources are false and that you are a <insert -ist here>. If you argue with them on their own data, they will claim the moral high-ground and tell you that you are a <insert -ist here> for arguing with them. Try arguing with a leftist on an issue, say, immigration and you will quickly understand this to be true. Oh, and they will also always cite something bad that the opposition did, as if to justify their own nonsense. This is a weak argument and should not be tolerated.

    A Truth: Leftist usually want to complain about things but do nothing of actual substance, I call this "conspicuous outrage." For example, an Earth-Firster will yell and scream about the timber industry, drop banners, and use PBC to lock themselves to some back-hoe. However, this is really doing nothing to help the forests but it is doing something to help the individual. They are heralded as a excellent non-violent protester and their position in the activism hierarchy is advanced. As anyone who has seen the devastation of forest fires in Montana or Utah or Idaho or California knows, a far more effective way to help the environment is to become a volunteer forest fire-fighter, not lock oneself to some door like every other moron wants to after reading "Eco-defense".
